Message	If you buy a JDM five speed, with new OEM clutch, new master cylinder, new slave, flex ss clutch line, new shifter boot, new shifter knob, new one piece drive shaft, used everything else, you would be looking at about $1400. I had a five speed rebuilt so that added $$$, but gave peace of mind. I have basic amateur mechanic skills, and working by myself it took me about 50 hours - that includes at least 5 hours of scratching my head to try to figure out how to do the next step. Search on "Auto to 5 speed" and you will find many very helpful writeups. I could not have done it without this website. My Z is now a lot more enjoyable. Good luck on yours.
